Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English descendant is her mother. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. She was the first born of a family of six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. Family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was obligated to accept her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. At the age of 16, she left school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
