Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass country singer and musician. Her first job was in the business of music in the early years of her life. At the age 10, she won local contests, and then recorded her first album. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first solo album in 1987. She was a part of the group whom she performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in the year 1989.
