Charissa Thompson
Thompson was a former FOX Sports host who left FOX Sports to join Yahoo Sports in 2010, also hosted Versus Sports. She was in charge of Versus' NHL studio coverage and produced web-based video on the loved Yahoo platform. This included leading the website's involvement in key events including those of the 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. The success she achieved in both arenas resulted in her to get a job with ESPN to be one of the hosts in the new afternoon program called "Numbers Never Lie" in August 2011. After a transition into "SportsNation," she enjoyed an extended run of great success. She left the network at the time of FS1's debut the following month in Los Angeles, May 2013 and returned home to Los Angeles. A sports fan at heart, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of television. In June of 2014, following several part-time jobs Thompson was named as the permanent host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra". The show was filmed in Universal Studios and also worked in award shows, celebrities' events and various other gatherings.
